3 : Sep 10-Prague city tour

After breakfast, pick up from our hotel to start our first day in the amzing journey to Prague which will take us to a city tour to this charming city . This tour will present the capital of the Czech Republic with its extensive historical core

Prague has prospered since the fall of Communism, and its new-found status and affluence is evident during your guided sightseeing tour of the city. Explore the impressive St. Vitus’ Cathedral in the grounds of the 1,000 year-old Prague Castle. Cross the river to the Old Town Square to see the Astronomical Clock. Spend the afternoon as you wish. Explore the city on your own, this evening, join your fellow travellers for a Highlight Dinner

Free time for lunch.

In the afternoon a boat ride on the Vltava River.

4 : Sep 11-Trip to Kutna Hora

During the Middle Ages, profits from the Kutna Hora silver mines brought fame to the lands of the Czech Crown, and Kutna Hora became the richest and most powerful town in the Czech lands. Kutna Hora was declared a world heritage site and since 1995 has been protected by UNESCO. During the tour you will admire the most important sights, such as the St. Barbara's Cathedral, the Ossuary or the Italian Court.

Kutná Hora is situated 60 km east of Prague.

Trip to Karlstejn Castle followed by a glass factory excursion

On this day you will visit the most famous castle in the Czech Republic located about 25 miles southwest of Prague. The gothic castle was founded in the 14th century by Charles IV, King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor and served as a place for safekeeping the Empire coronation jewels, holy relics and other royal treasures.

In the afternoon a guided tours in a glass factory. During the excursion, the glass-manufacturing process in all its stages is explained and shown. Factory retail shop.

Transfer to Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), a city tour

In the morning transfer to the best known and the largest spa in the Czech Republic that dates back to around 1350. The fame of Karlovy Vary has spread into the whole world thanks to its mineral springs. In Karlovy Vary you also find charming colonnades and you can admire famous products associated the town, such as locally manufactured Moser glass and Thun porcelain, delicious local wafers or the traditional "Becherovka" liqueur made from herbs. Trip to Marianske Lazne (Marienbad)

This trip takes you to the 19th century spa resort Marianske Lazne (Marienbad). Famous for its cold springs, beautiful collonade, the "singing" fountain and many decorated spa houses, Mariánské LáznÄ› will surely touch your heart.

Trip to Plzen and the Pilsner Urquell brewery, return to Prague

After breakfast at our hotel we’ll be transferred by AC bus to Plzen (Pilsen. After the quaintly contrived elegance of the West Bohemian spa towns, the rugged blue-collar energy of Plzeň comes as a welcome relief. The capital of West Bohemia has authentic industrial credibility as the home of the Skoda Engineering Works and as the original source of Pilsner beer. Workers the world over are especially pleased with that last fact.

You will take a tour around the town and you will be given opportunity to climb up to the tallest church spire in the country

 

Free time; enjoy the city centre followed by the Pilsner Urquell brewery tour.
