Travel to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Bay and the River Kishon. Enjoy a boatride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit the Israel Museum to see the Shrine of the Book Where the Dead Sea Scrolls are exhibited.

Day 1 : Arrive Tel Aviv

Upon arrival, we will be met and assisted through customs and transferred to our hotel for overnight.

Day 2 : Caesarea / Haifa

Today we leave Tel-Aviv and drive along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augustus Caesar. Continue to Megiddo, one of the chariot cities of King Solomon. Onto Mt. Carmel and Muhraka, which according to tradition was the site of the prophet Wlijah’s triumph. Travel to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Bay and the River Kishon. Proceed to Tzipori to see the magnificent mosaic floors, Crusader castle and church. Continue to Tiberias for Overnight. (B)

Day 3 : Tiberias / Galilee

Enjoy a boatride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum and see the ancient synagogue where Jesus Taught. Here too is the stone with the carving of the Ark of Convenant. Visit Tabgha, where Jesus fed the 5000 and see the church of Multiplication of the Fishes and the Loaves with its 4th century mosaic floor. Onto the mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount, Travel the road to the Golan Heights. Visit the Banais springs at Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus spent time with his disciples. Overnight in Tiberias. (B)

Day 4 : Jordan River / Nazareth

Today we visit the Jordan River Baptismal site at the southern end of the Sea of Galilee. Continue to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus, and the church of Annunciation. Past the Gilboa mountains drive to Beit Shean with its recently excavated amphitheater. Through the Jordan Valley travel to Jericho, the first city conquered by Joshua. Observe the Mt. of Temptations where Jesus spent 40 days in the desert tempted by Satan. Ascend the Judean hills to Jerusalem for overnight. (B)

Day 5 : Jerusalem

Our day in the holy city begins as we enjoy the unforgettable view from the top of the Mt. Olives. We follow in his footsteps from the triumphal entry to the Resurrection. View Bethpage, the Palm Sunday Walk and the Upper Room near King David’s tomb. Visit the Garden of Gethshemane, the House of Caiphas and the Praeterioum courtyard, where Pontius Pilate tried Jesus. View the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Bazaar, following the way of the Cross to the Garden Tomb. Overnight in Jerusalem. (B)

Day 6 : Jerusalem / Bethlehem

Today we visit the New City of Jerusalem. First to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. Next, a replica in miniature of Herodian Jerusalem. Visit the Israel Museum to see the Shrine of the Book Where the Dead Sea Scrolls are exhibited. Drive to Ein Karem, home of John the Baptist. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the site of the Nativity, birthplace of Jesus. Overnight in Jerusalem. (B)

Day 7 : Masada / Dead Sea

Today we depart Jerusalem through the Judean Mountains and drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. Ascend the eastern slope of the mountain by cable car and walk on this mountain refuge. Excavations have uncovered luxurious palaces, mosaic floors, a synagogue and Biblical scrolls and many other fascinating artifacts. Drive to Qumran, home of the Essenes, and sea the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Time permitting, an opportunity will be provided for a unique experience to bathe in the Dead Sea. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 8 : Depart Jerusalem

Today we will be transferred to the airport for our flight back home. (B)
