Day 1 : Amman

Upon arrivel to Amman Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative, and transferred to your hotel for your overnight stay

Day 2 : Desert Castles/Amman

After breakfast we will begin driving to the D esert Castles located in the eastern desert of the kingdom. You will have the chance to view the fresco art, baths, fortress and zodiac dome of Qasr Amra. Visit Qasr Kharraneh, before proceeding to Qasr el Hallabat and the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq. After that we will drive back to Amman. Overnight in our hotel - B

Day 3 : Amman

This morning we tour Amman, known in Biblical times as Rabbath Ammon and under Ptolemy as Philadelphia. Amman sits still splendidly on its traditional seven hills. We visit the Roman Theater dating back to the 2nd Century AD. Nearby are the ruins of the Citadel Hill and the Archaeological Museum, Costume & Folklore Museum, Ashrafiah Mosque, King Hussein sports city and bazaar. Over night at our hotel in Amman - B

Day 4 : Jerash/Ajlun Castle/Amman

After breakfast we will drive south and proceed to visit Jerash, "the Cross Roads of Civilization, known also as the "Pompeii of the East" and is now the most beautifully preserved Greek-Roman city. We see also the Grand ruins, Temples of Artemis and Zeus, a vast Roman forum, Hadrian's Triumphal Arch and a mile long street of columns. Then we proceed to the Castle of Ajloun, built in 1184 by Saladins nephew, who defeated the Crusaders in 1189. Back to Amman Hotel for overnight - B

Day 5 : Um Qais/Pella/Bethany/Dead Sea

Today we will visit Um Qais or Gadara, a part of the Decapolis cities. This is a time to explore fascinating ruins, a stunning black basalt theatre and enjoy spectacular views of the Jordan Valley, the sea of Galilee, and the Golan Heights. proceed to visit Pella, another city of the Decapolis in the Jordan Valley. Our day will end by visiting The Baptism site (Bethany) located just east of the Jordan River where John baptized Jesus Christ. Drive to the Dead Sea the lowest spot on earth, free afternoon for swimming, dinner and overnight at Dead Sea Hotel - HB

Day 6 : Mount Nebo/Madaba/Kerak/Petra

Free morning, proceed to visit Mount Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land - and is said to be buried. Next, visit Madaba, The City of Mosaics - You will visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George that features a vivid sixth-century Byzantine mosaic map showing Jerusalem and other holy sites, followed by lunch at Haret Jdoudna. Now some time will be allotted for your own free time and shopping before continuing to Kerak via King's Road. Lastly, we'll visit the Crusader Castle at Kerak. Overnight in Petra. (BL)

Day 7 : Petra

Today we visit Jordan's most exciting and adventurous location-- Petra, hidden away in the encircling craggy rock mountains south of the Dead Sea. A three hour drive over the Desert Highway brings you to this "Rose-Red City" half as old as time, carved from living rock over 2,000 years ago by the Nabataeans. The only entrance to the Fortress City is through a long, narrow passage. The sudden view of Petra's most spectacular monument, "The Treasury" is a dramatic sight. Beyond the Treasury lies other unique monuments. Carved right into the varicoloured mountains are the high place of sacrifice and the Monastery and Roman styled palace tomb. Overnight in Petra. Day 8 : Little Petra/Wadi Rum

Today we will see Little Petra and Beidah, only a fifteen minute drive from Petra. You will be able to walk through 8,000 year old excavated Stone Age villages known as Beidah and Basta. Wander among the ruins of settlements of the biblical Edomites, or explore the sprawling remains of the Roman legionary fortress at Udruh. Depart to the magical desert of Wadi Rum, the home of “Lawrence of Arabia. Enjoy some mint tea or cardamom coffee before touring this moon-like landscaped desert in a Bedouin driven Jeep.- Lunch at Wadi Rum Rest house, continue to Aqaba Hotel for overnight - BL

Day 9 : Aqaba

Free day at leisure in Aqaba. Enjoys a spectacular Red Sea setting of the purple colored mountains and sandy beaches. Aqaba's main attractions include some of the world's finest scuba diving and snorkeling, a full range of water sports from beachfront hotels, an extensive aquarium, and a museum.- Over Night at Aqaba hotel BB

Day 10 : Aqaba/Amman

Free Day at Leisure in Aqaba. In the afternoon, transfer back to Amman, Dinner at Kan Zaman village. Overnight Amman Hotel - BD
