Itinerary
Day 1, Friday
- Depart Canada / USA
Departure from Toronto, Montreal & New York (JFK) on our
overnight flight to Cairo.

Day 2, Saturday
- Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport we will be met
and assisted through immigration and customs then transferred
to our hotel.
Day 3, Sunday
- Cairo
Today we visit the great Pyramids of Giza and their guardian
Sphinx, Memphis - first capital of the ancient kingdom to
see the statue of Ramses II then to Sakkara to see the Step
pyramid. Overnight at our hotel (BL)
Day 4, Monday
- Cairo
This morning we visit the Egyptian Museum which houses the
treasures of King Tut then to the Citadel of Salah Eldien
and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight at our hotel. (BL)
Day 5, Tuesday
- Luxor
This morning we are transferred to Cairo Airport for our flight
to Luxor where we will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise
ship our floating hotel for the next seven days. After lunch
we visit Karnak Temple which has no equal among the national
shrines of Egypt then Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor. (BLD)
Day 6, Wednesday
- Luxor / Esna / Edfo
Cruise
Today we explore the Valley of the Kings, the Necropolis of
Thebes; Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of
Memnon facing the Nile. This afternoon, we sail down the Nile
to Esna, then to Edfo where we spend the night. (BLD)
Day 7, Thursday
- Edfo / Komombo / Aswan
Cruise
This morning we visit the Temple of Horus, the Falcon of God.
We continue sailing to Komombo to visit the temple shared
by two gods - Sobek and Haroeris. Komombo’s Ptolemaic
Temple offers beautiful murals and unforgettable views of
the river Nile. This afternoon we will cruise to Aswan for
overnight. Tonight we enjoy a Costume Party. (BLD)
Day 8, Friday
- Aswan
Cruise
This morning we visit the impressive Aswan High Dam and its
huge lake and the magnificent Temple of Philae. This afternoon
we view the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Islands by
“Felucca”, a traditional Nile sailing boat. Overnight
in Aswan. (BLD)
Day 9, Saturday
- Aswan / Komombo / Edfo
This morning is free at leisure. (Optional trip by air to
Abu Simbel *). After lunch, we sail to Komombo and stop to
view the Temple.Overnight in Edfo. (BLD)
Day 10,
Sunday - Edfo / Esna / Luxor
This morning we sail to Esna to visit the temple of God Khnum,
continue sailing to Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. (BLD)
Day 11,
Monday - Luxor / Cairo
Today we will be transferred to the airport for our flight
back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Day 12,
Tuesday - Depart Cairo
Today we will be transferred to Cairo International Airport
for our flight back home.
