Itinerary

DAY 1, ARRIVE CAIRO

Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, we will be met and assisted through immigration and customs then transferred to our hotel. (inflight meals)

DAY 2, CAIRO

Today we visit the magnificent great Pyramids of Giza and their guardian the Sphinx, the Egyptian museum which houses the richest collection of antiquities ever discovered including the fabulous treasures of King Tutankhamon, on to the Citadel of Salah Eldien and khan El khalili bazaar. Overnight in Cairo. (BL)

DAY 3, CAIRO / LUXOR - CRUISE

This morning we will be transferred to the Airport for our flight to Luxor where we will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise ship our floating hotel for the next five days. This afternoon we visit the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak, which has no equal among the national shrines of Egypt. Overnight in Luxor.(BLD)

DAY 4, LUXOR / ESNA / EDFO - CRUISE

Today we explore the Valley of the Kings , the Necropolis of Thebes, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. This afternoon we sail down the Nile to Esna then to Edfo where we spend the night. (BLD)

DAY 5, EDFO / KOMOMBO - CRUISE

This morning we visit the Temple of Horus, the Falcon of God. We continue sailing to Komombo to visit the temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Komombo's Ptolemaic Temple offers beautiful murals and unforgettable view of the river Nile. This afternoon we will cruise to Aswan for overnight. (BLD)

DAY 6, ASWAN - CRUISE

This morning we visit the impressive Aswan High Dam and its huge lake, the granite quarries and the magnificent Temple of Philae. This afternoon we view the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Islands by Felucca a traditional Nile sailing boat. Overnight in Aswan. (BLD)

DAY 7, ASWAN/CAIRO

This morning (OPTIONAL TRIP TO ABU SIMBLE- The most spactacular, the best preserved and the grandest temple in Egypt.) This afternoon we will be transferred to the Airport for our flight back to Cairo where we will be met and transferred to our hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 8, DEPART CAIRO

Today we will be transferred to Cairo Airport for our flight back home. (B & inflight meals)
